This three-year-old Headwater gelding trained by Richard & Chantelle Jolly has two wins and two places from four starts. He edged clear late for a 0.6 length win over 1200m at Morphettville on 14 August, then raced greenly throughout and worked home well late for 0.8 length 2nd over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 6 November. Has won at this track twice and will be tough to beat.
Parsifal (Morphettville Race 8 No. 2):
This seven-year-old Darci Brahma gelding trained by Will Clarken has seven wins and seven places from 24 starts. At the end of last campaign he chased hard the entire straight for 0.7 length 2nd over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 23 October 2020. When resuming after a year he chased steadily for 3.5 lengths 4th in the Century Stakes over 1000m at Flemington on 4 November. Should improve from that run and looks a good each-way chance in the City Of Marion Stakes.
Sidearm (Morphettville Race 9 No. 6):
This four-year-old Smart Missile gelding trained by Will Clarken is the early favourite in this BM 60 Handicap over 1050m. At the end of last campaign he was trapped three wide with no cover before finishing 3.7 lengths 7th in the Wagga Guineas over 1600m on 7 May. After a 25 week spell he returned for 0.6 lengh 2nd over 1050m at Morphettville on 30 October. Has only wonone of his 14 races and others offer better value.

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Sunday. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is in the true position. The features are the Gold Sovereign Stakes (race 5) and Tasmanian Oaks over 2100m (race 7). As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. Best Bet Wings Of Song (Launceston Race 7 No. 1) Made it 4 wins
Our Ballarat Tips for Sunday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is out 1 metre from the 400m to the winning post and true for the remainder. The drop in class is ideal for the best bet who looks very well placed. Best Bet Altermatum (Ballarat Race 2 No.7) Chased home Hayasugi last start and that form has been franked again today. Looks very well placed in this company and should get a dream run from the draw. $2.70 is over the odds in
