Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for Boxing Day. The feature race is the Group 3 BJ McLachlan 2YO Plate (race 6).

Zoustyle (Doomben Race 8 No. 2)
This six-year-old Zoustar gelding trained by Tony Gollan has nine wins and a place from 13 starts. Back in September 2020 he won a 900m sprint at the Gold Coast by 2.3 lengths. After that he didn’t race for over a year following a serious suspensory injury. He resumed over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast on 20 November where he won by 1.8 lengths and set a new track record, then led all the way for a 1.3 length win in the Group 3 George Moore Stakes over 1200m at Doomben on 4 December.  Should win again.

See Marie (Doomben Race 4 No. 11):
This four -year-old Sebring mare trained by Desleigh Forster has five wins and four places from 14 starts. When resuming after 27 weeks she drew away at the 200m to win by 3 lengths over 1400m on the Sunshine Coast Poly Track on 1 December, then was too classy for her opposition when winning by 1.8 lengths at Ipswich on 15 December. A great each-way bet.

Wonderful Riri (Doomben Race 2 No. 2):
This six-year-old Barbados mare trained by Steven O’Dea & Matthew Hoysted is the early favourite in this Class 6 handicap over 1350m. On 6 November she resumed from a 23 week spell for 3.2 lengths 6th over 1200m at Eagle Farm, then was always well back when 3.4 lengths 13th over 1200m at Doomben on 4 December. Doesn’t seem to have come back well this campaign and other runners look to have better chances.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 19th May 2024

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Weldborough (Devonport Race 9 No. 3) Won by 2.5 lengths over

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 19th May 2024

Key Comments The best bet is in the first and looks awfully hard to beat the short quote. The track has been favouring those on speed lately. Best Bet Coffin Dodger (Sale Race 1 No. 2) So hard to beat here off the back of 2 superb runs. The latest they put a huge gap on third and will not get a better chance to break maiden than this. Horse Racing Tips: NT Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The features are the $30,000 Tennant Creek Cup (race 6) and the $21,500 Denis Staunton Memorial Cup (race 5). The sand track is rated good and the rail in in the true position. Best Bet Merseyside (Tennant Creek Race 4 No. 2) Merseyside has been runner-up at her last 2 starts in Darwin and that form looks good enough to win this. Horse Racing Tips: WA Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The dirt track is rated Good and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Crystal Vain (Carnarvon Race 4 No. 2) Had 2 good runs before falling at Narrogin last start. Has had a 4 week let-up and is drawn wide but still looks a wining chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Calico Kid (Carnarvon Race 3 No. 1) Resumes after 32 weeks and having his first run
