She came from well back in the field to win the Listed Weetwood Handicap by 0.8 length over 1200m at Toowoomba on 26 September, then hit the front at the 100m and ran away for a 2.25 length win over 1200m at Doomben on 10 October. She is in great form and can win again.

Baller (Doomben Race 7 No. 11):
This five-year-old High Chaparral gelding trained by Chris Waller has four wins and two places from 15 starts, and three of the wins have been at this distance. At the end of last campaign he finished 8,8 lengths 6th over 1000m at Randwick on 15 February where he pulled-up lame and was sent to the spelling paddock. He resumed for 0.75, 0.3 length 3rd over 1110m at Doomben on 14 November, where he was doing his best work late. Looks an excellent each-way bet.

Kubrick  (Doomben Race 5 No. 2):
This four-year-old Shooting To Win gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this Class 3 Plate over 1350m. He finished 5.5 lengths 8th over 1600m at Randwick on 3 October, then ran 1.55 lengths 4th in a Class 6 over 1350m at Doomben on 7 November. He is coming back in grade but has not won for quite a while and doesn’t look like value.

As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet What A Cross (Sale Race 1 No. 10) Big finale on debut and looms at likeable odds here. Was smacked in betting then and almost pulled off the plunge when flying to the line. Looks a huge chance here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker
