Each Way

Charleise (Wyong Race 6 No. 2):
This five-year-old Foxwedge mare trained by Ciaron Maher & David Eustace has five wins and eight places from 19 starts. She ran on best for a 0.2 length win in the Listed Spear Chief Handicap over 1500m at Eagle Farm on 5 June, then ran on for 0.8 length 2nd in the Listed Glasshouse Handicap over 1400m at Sunshine Coast on 11 July. Has drawn the inside barrier and has won three from eight this campaign. Looks a great each-way bet.

Best Lay

Ruinart (Wyong Race 2 No. 11):
This three-year-old Hallowed Crown filly trained by John O’Shea is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1200m. At her only start she started favourite and only battled in the straight for 6.5 lengths 8th in a 2YO maiden at Canterbury Park on 8 January. She resumes after 34 weeks on the back of three trials, but offers no value at the short price.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game
