Our Wyong Horse Racing Tips for Fridays meeting.

The feature events are the Wyong Gold Cup (race 7) and the Mona Lisa Stakes (race 6).

Pearl Roan (Wyong Race 8 No. 4):
This six-year-old The Factor mare trained by Steve Hodge at Newcastle has five wins and six places from 22 starts. She chased solidly for 1.5 lengths 4th in the Bengalla Cup over 1280m at Muswellbrook on 31 July, then led most of the way for a dominant 2 length win over 1200m at Newcastle on 11 August. She has been going well this campaign and will be hard to beat.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Charleise (Wyong Race 6 No. 2):
This five-year-old Foxwedge mare trained by Ciaron Maher & David Eustace has five wins and eight places from 19 starts. She ran on best for a 0.2 length win in the Listed Spear Chief Handicap over 1500m at Eagle Farm on 5 June, then ran on for 0.8 length 2nd in the Listed Glasshouse Handicap over 1400m at Sunshine Coast on 11 July. Has drawn the inside barrier and has won three from eight this campaign. Looks a great each-way bet.

Best Lay

Ruinart (Wyong Race 2 No. 11):
This three-year-old Hallowed Crown filly trained by John O’Shea is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1200m. At her only start she started favourite and only battled in the straight for 6.5 lengths 8th in a 2YO maiden at Canterbury Park on 8 January. She resumes after 34 weeks on the back of three trials, but offers no value at the short price.

Best Bets Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Treasured Star (Ascot Race 6 No. 13) This three-year-old Toronado filly trained by Grant & Alana Williams has one win and one place from her two starts. On debut she worked home strongly on the heavy track to finish 2nd over 1200m at Belmont on 28 July, then had an eight week let-up. She won by an easy 1.8 length margin over 1100m at Northam on 27 September, where she was eased down late. Looks well-placed here

Best Bets Our Caulfield Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday 13th October 2021. The feature is the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (race 7). Hinged (Caulfield Race 7 No. 2) Champion trainer Chris Waller saddles up Hinged, a three year old daughter of Worthy Cause, in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas.  She ran a terrific second in the Group 1 Flight Stakes at Randwick last start which looks a superior form line to the Melbourne lead up races.  Expect there to be good pace on here and she is drawn
