Tralee Rose (Morphettville Race 8 No. 12)
This four-year-old Tavistock mare has four wins and three places from seven starts. It takes a tough mare to win the Lord Reims Stakes and the only other mare in the race is 2020 winner Eperdument. Tralee Rose finished 0.5 length runner-up over 2530m at Flemington on 12 December, then showed how good a stayer she was with a seven length win in the Listed Bagot Handicap over 2800m at Flemington on 1 January. She has won four of her last five races and looks the likely winner.

Music Addition (Morphettville Race 4 No. 1):
This six-year-old Your Song gelding trained by Peter Gelagotis at Moe has five wins and four places from 23 starts. He battled on steadily out wide for 3.4 lengths 8th over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 28 November, then finished 0.5 length 2nd in the Listed Christmas Handicap over 1200m at Morphettville at his only previous start at this track. He drops back from Listed grade and looks well worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay
Larkham (Morphettville Race 2 No. 5):
This four-year-old gelding trained by Ryan Balfour is the early favourite in this BM 60 Handicap over 1050m. He weakened steadily for 2.6 lengths 4th over 1000m at Morphetville on 9 May, then didn’t come on for 3.4 lengths 7th over 1000m at Morphettville Parks on 30 May. Resuming from a spell he may need a run under his belt and I’m prepared to risk him here.
