Our Morphettville Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

The feature race is the 1100m Durbridge Stakes (race 6).

Behemoth (Morphettville Race 6 No. 1)
This five-year-old All Too Hard gelding trained by David Jolly has seven wins and four places from 18 starts. In the spring he won the Group 1 Memsie Stakes and the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes before finishing 6.5 lengths 10th in The Everest. Resuming after 15 weeks he has an excellent first-up record and after a trial win at Murray Bridge on 21 January he should win this feature event.

Each Way

Charossa (Morphettville Race 8 No. 2):
This six-year-old gelding trained by Gordon Richards at Murray Bridge has eight wins and 13 places from 47 starts. He won by 1.8 lengths over 2500m at Morphettville on 28 November, then fought on for 2.4 lengths 5th over 2530m at Flemington on 12 December. Down in distance after a seven week let-up he looks worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay

Struck By (Morphettville Race 5 No. 2):
This grey gelding trained by Travis Doudle is the early favourite in this 3YO BM 62 Handicap over 1530m. He battled away for a length, 1.2 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Morphettville on 26 December, then chased gamely for 1.1 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Murray Bridge on 9 January. At the current price he offers no value.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 3rd May 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet is off the back of a strong second placing and looks hard to hold out launching from the good draw. Best Bet Red Red Wine (Echuca Race 8 No. 5) He has been hard to catch lately but was keen on him earlier this prep when he was smashed in the market and ran on well in a higher grade than this. Gets his chance in this field and should relish the drop in

Horse Racing Tips: WA Saturday 4th May 2024

Key Comments The feature is the Group 3 WA Sires' Produce Stakes (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +7 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Profit Pocket (Ascot Race 2 No. 3) She’s won all 3 starts this campaign at Esperance, Ascot and Pinjarra At her last 2 wins she’s raced outside the leader before taking over for dominant wins. Think she can do it again. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 4th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 8 metres. The track played well last time. Suspect with the rail out that far it may suit those on speed. The best bet looks double the price it should be. Best Bet Cadmus (Caulfield Heath Race 3 No. 1) Hard to beat. Brilliant return up a few grades than this and looks superbly treated in this with the drop in grade. Smart move with the claim and is 1/1 over this trip. Check odds on

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Friday 3rd May 2024

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is in true position for the 10 race meeting. Best Bet Flying D'amore (Kilcoy Race 4 No. 5) Filly from the Annabel Neasham stable who resumed for 5th over 1200m at Doomben on 17th April. Will find this easier and looks the leading chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Sly Corner (Kilcoy Race 7 No. 2) Resumes from a 30 week spell
