Last years winner was Riddle Me That and the year prior was Tuvalu. Wide open field with a host of chances. Muhnamek is looking for three straight wins and gets its chance to do that from barrier 6. Duke De Sessa resumes from a break and should give this a shake with even luck from barrier 12. KingMagnus has been around the mark this prep and can give this a shake while Pounding has been hard to catch for punters but has the ability.

1. Munhamek (6)

Looks for three wins in a row and is a strong chance in this field. Has been finding the line in superb fashion this prep and should have its chance from the draw.

2. Duke De Sessa (12)

Tackles this fresh from a tricky draw but has the in form Allen to steer and has trialled well. Has claims.

3. King Magnus (7)

Doesn’t win out of turn but rarely runs poorly, flies with the jockey aboard and handles all conditions. Should be around the mark and has been very honest this prep.

4. Pounding (5)

Another that doesn’t win out of turn but is proven at this level, maps for a great run and hasn’t had a whole lot of luck this prep. Can win.

5. Too Close The Sun (4)

Prefer others.

6. Sibaaq (11)

Tough to catch but does have the ability and is a consistent operator. Barrier 11 is tricky but boasts a very good place rate and is a good chance to run a drum in this.

7. Windstorm (3)

Racing in good fashion and maps for a lovely run from the draw. Should give this a shake.

8. Flash Flood (1)

Going well but doesn’t win out of turn and might strike trouble from barrier 1. Prepared to risk.

9. Galeron (9)

Can’t have.

10. Green Fly (2)

Racing well this prep and should figure in the finish again. Maps well from the draw and this race is within reach.

11. Le Ferrari (10)

Strong win last start and has been super consistent this prep. Can roll forward from the draw and has strong claims in this field.

12. Lounge Bar Rubi (8)

Can’t have.

13. Unseen Ruler (13)

Prefer others.
