The Dark Jewel Classic is a 1400 metre quality handicap race for fillies and mares run by the Scone Race Club in May. It is held at Scone in mid-May as a highlight of the autumn Scone Cup Carnival.

Dark Jewel Classic Race History

The race was first held in 1996 and was upgraded to Listed status in 1999. Due to the high quality of the fields it was upgraded to Group 3 Status following the running of the 2013 race.
