Our Launceston Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

The main races is the $100,000 Conquering Stakes (Race 7).

Street Tough (Launceston Race 1 No. 1)
This six-year-old gelding trained by Scott Brunton has six wins and eight places from 19 starts. He finished best out wide for a 0.5 length win over 1150m at Devonport Tapeta Synthetic on 13 September, then was held up into the straight before getting clear late and winding up for 0.3, 1 length 3rd in the Listed Newmarket Handicap  over 1200m at Launceston on soft going on 25 November where he looked unlucky. He goes well at this track, drops in grade and should win.

This five-year-old Hussonet mare has had 19 starts for six wins and eight places, including five wins at this track. She came from last to finish 0.2 lengths 2nd over 1600m at Launceston on a soft track on 28 October, then charged late to just miss for 0.1 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Launceston on 21 November. She has been placed at her last four runs and is worth an each-way bet.

Sardegna Deel (Launceston Race 5 No. 8):
This four-year-old Dundeel mare is the early favourite in this maiden/class 1 over 2100m.
