Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
The main race is the $500,000 Group 2 Hot Danish Stakes.
Captivant (Rosehill Race 6 No. 2)
This Capitalist colt trained by Peter and Paul Snowden won the Victory Vein Plate over 1000m at Randwick by 1.8 lengths at his only start. He jumped awkwardly but ran on strongly and had the best overall race sectionals. There are three runners in this race who won last start but he looks the most likely to win

So Taken (Rosehill Race 9 No. 6):
This five-year-old Street Boss mare goes well on soft and heavy tracks. She was looking for a run and never really got clear when 3 lengths 7th over 1250m at Canterbury on 5 October, then settled at the rear and ran home strongly for 1.8 lengths 5th on a heavy track over 1200m at Randwick on 24 October where she had the best 800-200m race sectional. This race looks a little easier and she looks a good each-way bet.

Savatiano (Rosehill Race 7 No. 1):
This six-year-old Street Cry mare trained by James Cummings is the early favourite in the Group 2 Hot Danish Stakes over 1400m. She sped out to lead in the Group 2 Let’s Elope Stakes over 1400m at Flemington but was headed at the 200m and finished 3.35 lengths 8th on 12 September. She finished 3.95 lengths 10th in the Group 2 Rose Of Kingston Stakes over 1400m at Flemington on 3 October. She drops 1 kg from that run but seems to be running below her best.

Key Comments Track suits on speed runners. The best bet resumes from a break and ran a superb run on debut. Should take beating and warrants a market check. Best Bet Trembles (Mornington Race 2 No. 6) Very good on debut in open company. Off a long spell and should be giving this a real shake fresh from the pole position. Keep an eye on the market.
