Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Inflation (Belmont Race 3 No. 4)
This five-year-old gelding has had three places from his last three starts – all at this track . He led on the rails , was challenged in the straight and stayed ahead until the last 100m when he was claimed to finish 0.06 length, 0.7 length 3rd over 1300m at Belmont on 1 August, then led again until late for 0.77 lengths 2nd over 1300m at Belmont on 15 August. He has the inside barrier and this is a great chance for him to win.

Lies ‘N’ Deception (Belmont Race 4 No. 5):
This four-year-old Danehill Express gelding resumed from a 21 week spell for 0.47 lengths 2nd over 1500m at Pinjarra Park on 6 August, where he ran on strongly and made good ground over the final 200m to just miss. He won a maiden plate over 1500m at Pinjara Park by 0.14 length where he gained the upper hand in the last few strides. Now that he seems to have worked out what racing is all about I expect him to run well again and think he is worth an each-way bet.
