Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Billy Ain’t Silly (Ascot Race 9 No. 11)
This three-year-old I’m All The Talk gelding trained by Colin Webster has four wins and two places from seven starts. He took over straightening and got away for a 1.6 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 3 April, then looked beaten at the 100 but dug deep to push on for a 0.3 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 17 April. He drops 4.5 kg from that run and looks the likely winner again.

Moschard (Ascot Race 6 No. 1):
This six-year-old Moshe gelding has seven wins and 10 places from 34 starts. He finished 1.42, 1.65 lengths 3rd in the Group 3 R.J. Peters Stakes over 1500m at Ascot on 14 November before a 22 week spell. When resuming he ran on strongly for 1.03 length 3rd over 1200m at Ascot on 17 April with a good 400m sectional. He has placed at his last three starts and looks a good each-way chance again.

Best Lay

Beret(Ascot Race 1 No. 3):
This four-year-old Helmet mare is the early favourite in this RTG 72+ Handicap over 1800m. She worked clear into the straight and ran on strongly for 0.24 length 2nd over 1800m at Ascot on 27 March, then came from last for 0.97 length 2nd over 1800m at Ascot on 1 May. She has had nine starts this preparation and won first-up then has not been further back than 5th in the rest of her runs. With her low win rate I am prepared to risk her here.
