Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Kaptain Kaos (Belmont Race 9 No. 5)
This four-year-old Demerit gelding trained by Michael Grantham has four wins and three places from eight starts. Last campaign he won three consecutive races before finishing 2.1 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Ascot, then was spelled for 15 weeks. On resuming he charged home late for a 0.3 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 7 August. Looks the testing material

Tellem We’re Comin (Belmont Race 8 No. 6):
This seven-year-old Blackfriars gelding trained by Daniel Morton has eight wins and six places from 27 starts. At the end of last campaign he was outkicked into the straight to finish 4.9 lengths 6th in the Listed G.A. Towton Cup over 2200m at Ascot on 12 December, then was spelled for 35 weeks. He resumed in the Listed Belmont Newmarket over 1200m where he was travelling well as the winner swooped wide in the final strides and he finished 2nd. Looks a solid each-way chance here.

Overthought (Belmont Race 6 No. 7):
This six-year-old Trade Fair mare trained by Fenella Martin has five wins and seven places from 28 starts and is the early favourite in this No Metro Wins Last Year Handicap over 2000m. She fought evenly for 5.2 lengths 4th over 2000m at Belmont on 7 August, then finished 0.3 lengths 2nd over 2200m at Belmont on 21 August. I’m prepared to risk her here.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 19th May 2024

Key Comments The best bet is in the first and looks awfully hard to beat the short quote. The track has been favouring those on speed lately. Best Bet Coffin Dodger (Sale Race 1 No. 2) So hard to beat here off the back of 2 superb runs. The latest they put a huge gap on third and will not get a better chance to break maiden than this. Horse Racing Tips: NT Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The features are the $30,000 Tennant Creek Cup (race 6) and the $21,500 Denis Staunton Memorial Cup (race 5). The sand track is rated good and the rail in in the true position. Best Bet Merseyside (Tennant Creek Race 4 No. 2) Merseyside has been runner-up at her last 2 starts in Darwin and that form looks good enough to win this. Best Bet Discotheque (Toowoomba Race 6 No. 1) Finished 2nd at Beaudesert last start after hitting the lead approaching the turn and being overpowered in the final 100m. Drops back slightly in distance and gets blinkers on. Strong chance. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Lost My Nightie (Toowoomba Race 3

Key Comments An 8 race meeting on the synthetic Poly Track where the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Irene's Best (Gold Coast Poly Race 5 No. 4) Former NSW galloper who has been runner-up at both starts since changing stable. She gets a good barrier this time and is the leading hope.
