Hot Zed (Ascot Race 9 No. 4):
This four-year-old Red Hot Choice gelding trained by Lou Luciano has seven wins and six places from 16 starts. He made some ground after a tough run for 3 lengths 5th over 1200m at Ascot on 13 November, then got there in the final strides for a narrow win in the Listed Carbine Club of W.A. Stakes over 1400m at Ascot on 20 November. Has had an eight week let-up and with his good record at Ascot he looks a strong each-way chance.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 4 metres. The best bet comes up in the second race and is a very progressive type that can continue on its winning spree. Best Bet Affluential (Werribee Race 2 No. 4) Has been on a winning spree and showing no signs of slowing down. Should land in a beautiful spot from the draw and no reason to suggest it can't win again on the way to better races. Check odds on SmartB Analyst:

Horse Racing Tips: ACT Friday 17th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. Racing on the synthetic. The best bet comes up in the first and just needs even luck from the barrier to be winning. Best Bet Howgoodisvegas (Canberra Race 1 No. 1) 2 wins on the trot and both of them have been convincing. Should be able to slide forward from the wide draw and make It three in a row.
