Written Beauty (Moonee Valley 6 No. 3)
This Written Tycoon filly has had three starts for two wins and a place. She jumped awkwardly but got to the front and raced away for a 6 length win over 1200m at Gold Coast on 6 June. She resumed from a 17 week break for a 2 length win over 1100m at Canterbury Park on 5 October. She has a lot of early speed and is capable of making it a hat-trick of wins.

Each Way
Dirty Work (Moonee Valley Race 8 No. 6):
This Written Tycoon horse from the Hawkes stable is a very fast sprinter who has 5 wins and 4 places from 16 starts. He was checked off heels before finishing 1.4 lengths 4th in The Shorts over 1100m at Randwick on 19 September, then jumped awkwardly but ran on strongly out wide for a narrow win in the Group 2 Schillaci Stakes over 1100m at Caulfield on 10 October. A great each-way chance and could win.

Best Lay
Groundswell (Moonee Valley Race 7 No. 3):
This Fastnet Rock gelding is the early favourite in this BM 84 handicap over 1500m. He finished 2.05 lengths 4th over 1200m at Caulfield on 19 September, then took over at the 200m and won by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at Cranbourne on 11 October. This is a much harder race and Moonee Valley is a tricky track so he does not look like value.
