He made steady ground out wide for 3 lengths 5th over 1300m at Bendigo on 2 September, then charged to the front to go clear and win by 5 lengths over 1615m at Sale on 24 September. He is fitter now and looks well=placed to win again.

This six-year-old gelding has had four wins from 10 attempts this campaign. He drifted back through the field then worked home solidly to just miss the placings when 0.8 length 4th over 2000m at Morphettville on 19 September, then chased solidly and gathered the leader in late for a 0.4 length win over 2250m at Morphettville on 26 September. Drops back in distance and looks an each-way chance.

This four-year-old gelding from the Tony McEvoy is the early favourite in this BM 62 Handicap over 1200m. He ran last of 10 over 1221m at Geelong on 24 March, then was 9 lengths 7th over 1400m at Pakenham on 9 April before spelling. He finished last of 6 in a trail on Gawler on 24 September and represents no value here.

Key Comments The feature race is the Scone Cup (race 8). The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks a sure thing. Best Bet La Pleine Lune (Scone Race 5 No. 3) Absolutely romped in on debut. Concede it was in the right part of the track when the rail as hot however the race rated well, it had plenty more to give and the runner up has walked in since. Looks the good thing of all good things.
