Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Skins (Doomben Race 9 No. 15)
This five-year-old Sepoy gelding trained by David Vandyke has four wins and two places from six starts. At the end of last campaign he settled 5th then took over at the 100m and drew away for a 2.75 length win over 1110m at Doomben on 31 October. When resuming after 21 weeks he was 6th on the home turn then took over at the 150m and raced away for a 3.25 length win over 1110m at Doomben on 31 March. The extra distance should suit and he is the leading chance in this race.

Each Way

Hallowed Girl (Doomben Race 3 No. 8):
This four-year-old Hallowed Crown mare has four wins and four places from 18 starts with two wins at this distance. After winning two races in a row she didn’t run on when 4.85 lengths 9th over 1805m at Eagle Farm on 6 March and was lame in the near foreleg. Following a 5 week spell she battled on for 5 lengths 4th on a soft track over 1615m at Doomben on 10 April. She drops 2kg from that run and looks a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

Kisukano (Doomben Race 8 No. 9):
This Bel Esprit filly has six wins and four places from 13 starts and is the early favourite in this Listed Mick Dittman 3YO Plate over 1110m. At 3 of her 4 starts since resuming from a 15 week spell she has started favourite and has not been able to win. She didn’t run on with the heavy track and finished 7.95 lengths 12th over 1200m at Gold Coast on 13 March, then led at the 200m but had no answer to the winner when 1.75 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Eagle Farm on 3 April.  This is a harder race, she has the outside barrier, and offers no value.

Horse Racing Tips: SA Saturday 25th May 2024

Key Comments There are 10 races. The track is rated Soft 5 and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Garachico (Murray Bridge Race 3 No. 2) Garachico was runner-up twice over this distance before finishing well back behind The Map in the Andrew Ramsden at Flemington last Saturday. He’ll go forward from the inside barrier and be hard to run down. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way El Paso Citie

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 25th May 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range. The rail is true. The best bet resumed with an emphatic win and should be able to go on with things. The best each way bet is due for some luck and looks well placed in its field. Best Bet Fasuto (Sandown Race 4 No. 1) Brilliant win resuming when beating a BM70 field with complete ease. Has always shown glimpses of talent across its career and the penny may well and truly have

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 24th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is in 4 metres. The track is in the soft range. The best bet went mighty close for us last start and can atone in this race. Best Bet Chaotic Beauty (Goulburn Race 5 No. 3) Thought the steer was really poor two back when given far too much work to do when narrowly missing in this grade when heavily backed. Keatings sticks aboard and she can have it more within range this time around. Forget last run when

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Friday 24th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 9 metres. Expecting that to suit those on speed. The best bet comes up in the first and plenty of value about the each way bet who loves racing here. Best Bet Extremely Wicked (Cranbourne Race 1 No. 7) This 3yo Filly resumes off the back of a break. Comes up with barrier 4 and Ben Allen to ride. There are some credible form lines from previous runs and plenty to like about its prospects in this
