Horse Racing Tips: Happy Valley, 17th January 2024

Our Happy Valley Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

There is an 8-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail moves to the C position for the meeting, and there is no rain forecast in the lead-up, which should mean racing will be on a Good surface. The humidity is high which is challenging for competitors.

The first race is at 7.10pm Hong Kong time which is 10.10pm AEST.

Best Bet

M Unicorn (Happy Valley Race 7 No. 12)

He ran on well last start after beginning awkwardly, checked near the 400m and becoming unbalanced. He finished 2 lengths 4th after a lot went wrong but won the races before well. Vincent Ho takes the reins again and he can return to the winners list.

Best Each Way

Ernest Feeling (Happy Valley Race 6 No. 4)

This 6YO is in great form with 2 wins and a close 2nd in 3 runs this campaign – all over this track and distance. The wide draw is some concern but he still looks a nice each-way bet.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game
