Cadre Du Noir (Rosehill Race 1 No. 3)
This horse has had eight starts for two wins and five places. He joined the lead inside the 300m and was headed at the 200m and fought on for 0.2 length 2nd over 2000m at Flemington on 8 August, then he took the lead and charged clear under a hold at the 300m and bolted in for a 5 length win over 2400m at Sandown Hillside on 26 August. He loks well-places here and should win again.

Haut Brion Her (Rosehill Race 8 No. 5):
This Zoustar mare trained by Chris Waller never runs a bad race and has five wins and three places from eight starts. She sped out to lead and was headed at the 200m but fought back well for 1.25 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Caulfield on 21 September 2019 then sped to the lead again and was tiring but held on for a 0.75 length win in the Group 2 Blazer Stakes over 1400m at Flemington before spelling. She has been away from the track for nearly a year but has won both trials and looks a nice each-way proposition.

Funstar (Rosehill Race 7 No. 5):
This Adelaide mare from the Chris Waller stable is the early favourite in the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes over 1300m. She finished last campaign with 1.8 lengths 2nd in the Group 1 Coolmore Legacy over 1600m at Randwick on 11 April, then resumed for 1.9 lengths 6th in the Group 3 Show County Quality over 1200m at Randwick on 22 August. She has an excellent second-up record but this is a top quality filed and she is far from a sure thing and is no value here.
