The Quokka Race History
The race was first held in 2023 over a 1200m sprint distance at weight-for-age. It had prizemoney of $4,000,000 making it the richest race held in Western Australia. In 2024 the prizemoney has increased to $5,000,000.
It is a race open to 14 slot holders who each get to select their horse for the race, and is based on The Everest in Sydney
