Normally held over 1600m  at Eagle Farm it was at Doomben for 2018, 2019 and 2020 and Sunshine Coast for 2021. In 2022 it was held on 5 March at Toowoomba after meetings in Queensland where delayed and rescheduled due to flooding in late February and early March. In 2023 the distance was reduced to 1400m.
