The Geoffrey Belmaine Stakes is a 1200 metre set weights plus penalties race for mares four-years-old and upwards run by the Melbourne Racing Club in early February. It is held at Caulfield on CF Orr Stakes day as one of the eight black-type races on the day.

The race was first held as the Hyderabad Race Club Plate over 1200m at Caulfield in 2000 and was won by a horse called Londoloz. In 2001 it was upgraded to a Listed race, then it was upgraded to its current Group 3 status in 2007. In 2002 only it was held over 1600m but has been 1200m in all other years.
