Track: Good 4 Weather: Fine

The winner last year was Antino and the year prior was Charmmebaby. Current favourite FreedomRally looks extremely hard to beat from barrier 1. This race is within reach. Iknowastar can lead them up from barrier 4 and prove hard to hold out. PoisonChalice hasn’t had a lot of luck this prep and is capable of taking this out while Coastwatch is a place chance.

1. Freedom Rally (1)

Impossible to knock. Maps for a kind run from barrier 1, brings in the right form, has J-Mac to steer and looks a class above. Clear top pick.

2. Star Of India (2)

Can’t have.

3. Charterhouse (10)

Capable at its best and did run well in the Scone Cup which is good enough form for this. Barrier 10 will be tricky but Shinn steers.

4. Coastwatch (9)

Place hope against these. Has been around the mark and had no luck last weekend. Goes in the mix.

5. Iknowastar (4)

Racing well and should prove hard to beat. Can land up on the speed from barrier 4 and Tim Clark does the riding in what looks a suitable race.

6. Master Jamie (6)

Can’t have.

7. Poison Chalice (5)

Capable and hasn’t had a lot of luck this prep. Maps well from barrier 5 and looks a big chance to run top 2.

8. New Mandate (3)

Can’t have.

9. Deny Knowledge (7)

This looks too tough.

10. Cottee (8)

Leaning to others.

11. Arts Object (11)

Can’t have.
