The Wave 2024 Race Details
Race 7 at Gold Coast Racecourse on Saturday the 6th of January 2024.
The Wave is a feature race held at Gold Coast Racecourse and is run over 1800 metres. It is run under weight for age conditions and is for three and four year old horses. The winner gets a golden ticket into the Magic Millions. The total prize money is $250,000 this year.

The Wave 2024 Preview
Track: Soft Weather: Fine
The Vowels has been a model of consistency and gets the right race to breakthrough but will need to overcome the awkward barrier. Madame Odette is racing in good fashion and is well suited to this field. Zoe’s Promise has the right form for the race and looks very hard to beat on paper while the best version of Encoder will give this a shake.

Going to need some luck from out there but racing in good fashion and strikes a suitable race here. Orman does the steering and brings some credible form into this. Hard to beat.

Can’t have.
4. Sacred Mission (8)
Has the right racing pattern to land up on the speed and be hard to run down. Does look short enough in early market but is a top 4 chance.
5. Ain’t He Grand (15)
Needs luck from out there but coming off a solid last start win and looks well placed in this field.
6. Buillt (14) – scratched
7. Ultimate Outcome (11)
Prefer others.
8. Ivanov (10)
Can’t have.
9. Noah ‘N’ A Deel (1)
Prefer others.
10. Madame Odette (4)
Lucky to have won last start with the runner up being very stiff but this race is within reach and maps for a kind run. On an upward spiral and is well placed in this field.
11. Tyresa (9)
Can’t have.
12. Arts Object (3)
Prefer others.
13. Zoe’s Promise (5)
Brings in some very good form to this. Only beaten by a smart one who is in a purple patch of form and the switch from NSW looks a smart one. Maps for a kind run and Tim Clark does the steering. This race suits.
14. Encoder (2)
Racing well and maps for every hope from the draw. The stable are having a good run and this race is within reach.
