Tattersall’s Mile 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Open race. Osmose had no luck last start and should be hard to beat in this field. Finepoint needs to lift but gets a drop in grade and is suited to this field. Hasabro was good last start and just had to hold its form to go close. Character represents the Godolphin stable and is likeable odds against this lot. Plenty of chances.
Tattersall’s Mile 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Superstorm (5)
Suited by the drop in grade but has to lift to challenge these. Prefer others.
2. Character (8)
Likeable odds. Hard to beat representing the Godolpin camp. Maloney does the steering and this looks the right race.
3. Puntura (6)
Finds the right race and gets its chance to bounce back in this.
4. Finepoint (2)
Form doesn’t read much but gets a drop in grade, good map and in form jockey. Likeable.
5. Linthorpe Lad (10)
Hit and miss on form. This looks a little too tough.
6. Hasabro (3)
Good run last start and gets its chance to atone in this. Maps kindly from the barrier and should get every chance from there. Strong claims.
7. Alburq (4)
Consistency dropped off last start but was going along well prior to that. Chance.
8. Trevelyan (12)
Solid win last start and just has to hold its form to go close.
9. Tears Of Love (1)
Prefer others.
10. Ocean Treaty (9)
Maps a little sticky but had no luck last start and can atone in this race. Will need a bit to go right from the draw but this is within reach.
11. Osmose (14)
No luck last start run and deserves to be well in the market in this. Should prove hard to hold out in a suitable race.
12. Aussie Nugget (13)
Prefer others.
13. Renouf (11)
No luck last start but prefer at the Sunny Coast. Prefer others.
14. Mister Yu Shu (7)
Racing well and had no luck last run. Can take this out.
