Open field engaged. Airman can be hard to catch but has the quality and is well placed in this field. Zou Tiger is having a good prep and is a major player. Shinzo is all class and will take beating here while expecting plenty of pace from Coal Crusher who can land up on the speed and give this a real shake.

Class runner who maps well from draw and has the edge on this field. Hard to beat and maps well from the draw. Last run fresh was brilliant.

2. Coal Crusher (10)

Ran 3rd in this race last year. Maps tricky from the draw but has claims and the fitness advantage over some of these.

3. Roots (3)

Has class and looks well placed from the barrier. Hard to beat against this lot and very good when on song.

4. Shinzo (6)

Has ability and looks well placed in this field. Good draw and map, looks a major player and the price seems fair.

5. Airman (16)

Too short from the tough draw. Leaning to others.

6. Malkovich (13)

Can’t have.

7. Zou Tiger (11)

Racing well and good last start win. Hard to catch at times but hope in this.

8. Rocketing By (5)

Can’t have.

9. Omni Man (15)

Racing well but tricky draw. Weighted kindly and is a place chance here.

Can’t have.

Good bounce back to form last start after excuses fresh. Barrier 1 and Gibbons steering makes for good appeal.
