Open field engaged. Airman maps for a nice run from barrier 2 and should give this race a shake. Red Card is drawn to do no work from barrier 1. Dashing Legend looks kindly weighted and looks suitably placed in this field. Omni Man can lead them up and give a sight while Rainbiel is very hard to catch but does have a booming finish when on song.

Classy runner that maps well from barrier 2 with J-Mac aboard. Goes in the mix against this lot but does look slightly under the odds.

Has the class to take this race out but is going to need some luck from the draw. Gibbons steers and this race is within reach.
4. Red Card (1)
Maps well from barrier 1 and looks poised to take this out from the draw. Should get every possible and looks nicely placed against these.
5. Hard To Say (9)
Has been racing well and is consistent to date but harder here. Goes in the mix.
6. Sweet Ride (8)
Can’t have.
7. Omni Man (3)
Maps for a kind run with Tim Clark in the saddle and looks well suited to this field. Looks around the right price and should be in the finish.
9. Quick Tempo (10)
Not hopeless for a roughie despite the wide barrier. Collett rides and this is within reach.
9. Meritable (5)
Prefer others.
10. Dashing Legend (4)
Good first up winner last prep and goes in the mix off that.
11. Libertad (12)
Had excuses fresh and can bounced back in this. Looks a big price and wouldn’t shock if it won.
12. Rich Fortune (7)
Goes on top. Brings in some group one form and comes off a mammoth run crossing the line with Cylinder. $23? What am I missing.
13. Rainbiel (6) – scratched
Too hard to catch. Can’t have.
