Open field. Blue Stratum was good on debut and can go one better in this. Maps awkward from the draw but can give this race a shake with any luck from the barrier. Jupiter Hills is on debut and has Tim Clark doing the steering. Odinson was good on debut but has barrier 15 to overcome while Deep Joy notched up a win at its first start and Dylan Gibbons will ride from the kind draw.

Raced well on debut and should be hard to beat in this. Wouldn’t have to improve much off that run to be taking this out and gets the services of Schofield to overcome the wide draw.

3. Odinson (15)

Tough draw but trials have been rock solid and is respected in the market. Should prove hard to beat but will need a very good ride.

4. Sacred Fort (9)

Prefer others.

5. Cashaway Gold (3)

Look at the markets for its chances in this.

6. Deep Joy (2)

Maps well from the draw and was a good winner on debut. Nicely weighted, has the runs on the board and Gibbons steers. This race suits.

7. Desirous (13)

Tough draw but a chance in this off the back of decent trials. Top 4 chance.

8. Groove City (1)

Can’t have.

9. Ivana (10)

Prefer others.

10. Jupiter Hills (7)

Trialled well but will need a pinch of luck from barrier 7. Short in the market and can go close in this.

11. Nymphadora (11)

No luck on debut. Should be an improver in this field. Place hope.

12. Satin Stiletto (4)

Prefer others.
