Gold Coast Guineas 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Cracking race. Yellow Brick should have been undefeated last prep and comes into this with large claims. Fashion Legend is a winning machine and finds the right race to notch up another one. Loved the return of Bunker Hut flying to the line and J-Mac hops aboard while Swiss Exile just needs even luck from the draw to figure.

Hard to knock winning form. Market watch here fresh.
2. Yellow Brick (9)
Should have been undefeated last prep but ran into trouble to close things off. Hard to beat here with an impeccable record and just needs even luck from the draw.

Tough draw but has class and ability. Goes in the mix but overdue for a win.
4. Soothsayer (13)
Can’t have.
5. Spacewalk (8)
Races best when allowed to roll. Having a great prep but the weights look a bit against it in this. Top 4 chance.

Can’t have.
7. End Assembly (15)
Poor first up run. Happy to oppose it.
8. Lubrication (3)
Quality galloper but prefer it in something a little easier.
9. Bunker Hut (10)
Zoomed home fresh with some good splits. J-Mac hops aboard and goes right in the mix if improving off that effort.

Can’t have.
11. Russian Conquest (7)
Overdue for another win, whether that is here or not is a query. Price is fair. Top 4 chance.
12. Lady Laguna (4)
Good win last start. The favourite did pull up lame and had the dream run on the rails. Can win but far too short.

Can’t have.
14. Midnight In Tokyo (2)
Want to see it notch up another win before considering.
