Solid clash over the 1400m. Looks Like Elvis has been well found in the market and looks hard to beat after running 2nd to the ever in form Corner Pocket last start. That kind of form should go very close against this lot. Superium has a booming turn of foot and can take this race out with luck in running. Titanium Power will land on the speed and take a stack of beating while Niccolini Vito brings in some good form and gets the services of J-Mac.

1. Looks Like Elvis (4)

Ran 2nd to Corner Pocket last start which is top notch form for this race. Maps for the perfect run in transit and Brett Prebble should give it every chance from the kind barrier. This race looks suitable.

2. Superium (5)

Won well last start but putting 2 in a row together hasn’t been a habit for Superium. Will be flashing late but hard to trust to get another win here after the last. Good enough but mixes form.

3. Niccolini Vito (6)

Good galloper with the right kind of form for this race. The map looks okay from barrier 6 and J-Mac should give it every chance. Solid in the market and is a top 3 hope.

4. Titanium Power (2)

Titanium Power has the right running pattern to give this a shake. Lands on the speed and does love racing here. Schofield is a hard jockey to catch but he knows the horse well. Big chance.

5. Snippy Fox (3)

Quality mare that gets along with Jay Ford well. Maps to stalk the speed or lead. This race is within reach but would like to see it lift its form.

6. Vreneli (7)

Come back well this prep and has put 2 wins together on the board. Will need some luck with some early speed in the race but is in great form and can really give this race a shake.

7. Shaquero (1)

Comes back to the right race but has to lift on form. Prefer others but is weighted well so keep an eye on the market.

8. Ruby Tuesday (8)

Prefer others.

9. Cuban Royale (9)

Racing well this prep. The query is the map from barrier 9 but the form around is stacking up and this race is thin as a whole. Can take this out with a good steer from Brock Ryan.
