This is all about Storm Boy who brings in superb form and should be justifying its short quote. The horse it beat, Traffic Warden, on debut came out and won last week so the $1.40 on offer looks right. The only danger is Astapor who has been impressive to date and can giver the short favourite something to think about from barrier 1.

Lovely debut win beating the handy Traffic Warden who has come out and won since. Just has to stay out of trouble from barrier 5 to be taking this out and is the right price.

Has shown excellent potential to date and while I doubt the form is as strong as the favourite, you can only beat what is put in front of you. HAs claims to roll the favourite and is a good enough price to back each way.

Can’t have.
4. Customized (7)
Prefer others.
5. Pisces (4)
Good win on debut. May be able to sneak a place.
6. Mishani Aloha (6)
This looks too tough.
7. Poster Girl (3)
2 good runs to date and can fit out the minor placings with a weight advantage over Astapor. Place chance.
