Northam Racecourse

Northam Racecourse is just a 60-minute drive from Perth in the heart of the majestic Avon Valley of Western Australia. Northam Race Club hosts its meetings at Northam Racecourse and has done since 1863 as it continues to be one of Western Australia’s premier provincial racecourses.

The club hosts approx 22 race meetings a year between May to December, highlighted by the Northam Cup in October

Northam has two listed races over the course of the year.

Driving is the best way to get to Northam Racecourse. Located on Yilgarn Avenue directly across from the Caravan Park, the racecourse is on the eastern border of the town and can be accessed directly through the town or via the bypass road. Northam is about 60 minutes from Perth on the Great Eastern Highway. Transport WA  has public transport of both bus and train services daily to Northam.
