Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Essential Spice (Belmont Race 7 No. 3)
This season this mare has had 7 starts for 4 wins and 3 places. She finished a very close 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 27 June when resuming from a spell, then came home very fast for a 0.7 length win in the Listed Beaufine Stakes over 1000m at Belmont on 11 July. She will be ridden by William Pike who just had another record-breaking season of wins so it would be fitting if he won this race called the Jockey Celebration Day Sprint.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Bombay Style (Belmont Race 9 No. 3):
This Blackfriars gelding likes this track as 3 of his 4 wins have been here. He was a narrow winner of a Class 3 handicap over 1650m at Belmont on 1 July, then overhauled the leaders in the shadows for a 0.4 length win in a No Metro win over 1600m at Belmont on 11 July. He is in great form at the moment and is worth an each-way bet.

Goodbyefeds (Belmont Race 1 No.1):
This Sessions gelding is favourite in this 1200m maiden race, and has 6 places from his 11 starts. He finished 4.2 lengths 4th over 1300m at Pinjarra Park on 23 February before spelling, then resumed for 0.6 length 4th over 1000m at Belmont on 18 July where he had a good closing 400m sectional. He has been favourite several times before and is still a maiden and does not look like value.
