Our Flemington Horse Racing Tips for Saturday’s meeting.

The feature race is the Listed Chester Manifold Stakes (race 7).

White Hibiscus (Flemington Race 3 No. 4)

This Danny O’Brien trained gelding is third up on Saturday. He was strong late first up and then stepped up to the 1600m last time out and showed a terrific turn of foot to score easily. He should still have some improvement to come and his spacious home track of Flemington will suit as he is a horse that takes a bit of time to warm up.  Hard to beat again.

China Affair (Flemington Race 9 No. 4):

This lightly raced 4 year old is a winner of 3 races from 7 starts. He worked home strongly over the 1000m here first up behind the smart Sword Of Mercy – and many are spruiking her as a light weight chance for the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate. The extra 100m looks to suit and the inform Damian Lane takes over the reigns.

Saccharo (Flemington Race 4 No. 1):

This 5 year old gelding trained by Archie Alexander is third up on Saturday. He got along way back last start over the 1400m and worked home okay to finish 3 lengths from the winner. This is not a strong race but he is yet to run a place at 5 starts over the 1600m and climbs sharply in the weights.
