Our Caulfield Horse Racing Tips for Saturday 30 January 2021.
Race 4 is the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes for two-year-olds and race 5 is the Group 3 Manfred Stakes for three-year-olds.
Defibrillate (Caulfield Race 9 No. 3)
The Patrick Payne stable is going very well at the moment and so is his galloper Defibrillate. He has had three runs back after a long lay off and has won the last two of them in superb fashion coming from worse than midfield to swamp his rivals. He knows how to win this horse, having won seven of his eleven starts and he looks well placed to make it eight on Saturday.

Each Way
Charleise (Caulfield Race 8 No. 9):
Charleise is a winner of two races from her twelve starts. I thought her first up run was a great pipe opener. She had no favours there settling back in the field but worked to the line strongly. She was also a big drifter in the market which suggested she may have needed the run. With fitness on her side she looks a big improver here.

Aysar (Caulfield Race 5 No. 3):
This talented four year old has come up as the early favourite in race five on Saturday. He resumes off the back of a strong spring campaign which featured a second placing in the Group One Caulfield Guineas. However he comes into this race without a public jump out, without his blinkers and is meeting a strong field. For these reasons happy to risk him at his current odds.
