Best Bets

Our Caulfield Horse Racing Tips for Saturday 24th July 2021. The feature is the Group 3 Bletchingly Stakes (race 8).

Miss Albania (Caulfield Race 4 No. 6)

Talented sprinter who won three of five starts in her first preparation.   She resumes here off the back of two impressive Cranbourne jump outs and gets Craig Williams to ride.  Should take some catching with just 54kg on her back.

Each Way

Viridine (Caulfield Race 8 No. 2)

Back to defend his title after winning this race last year.  He had genuine excuses in the Sir John Monash Stakes last start where he was slow away after being heavily backed.  There looks likely to be good speed on here which suits and he will have no trouble handling a soft or heavy track if the predicted rain hits.

Best Lay

Token Spirit (Caulfield Race 6 No. 1):

Token Spirit has come up the early favourite in race six.  He has done a good job to win his last two starts but is up in weight here and loses Jamie Kah for an apprentice rider.  He does not represent any value at the current quote.

Best Bet | Race 6 #11 So Clever Listed as first emergency but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a run. This John Moore-trained 4yo has won his only two starts and looks to have a bright future. He handled the step up from maiden to Class 1 with ease when winning at Ipswich a fortnight ago and the form around him looks solid with the second place-getter (Super Gorgeous) coming out and winning again. This looks a very winnable BM72 for a horse on the rise such as

After 21 weeks he resumed with a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Murray Bridge. Three of his wins were on soft tracks and he will

Best Bets Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Hinged (Doomben Race 1 No. 1) This two-year-old Worthy Cause filly trained by Michael Nolan at Toowoomba has four wins and two places from six starts. She began well and led narrowly and despite hanging in she drew away late for a 1.3 length win over 1350m at Ipswich on 2 July, then she hit the front and hung in the final 300m but held on for a 0.5 length win over 1350m at Doomben on 10

Best Bets Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. The feature is the Listed H.G. Bolton Sprint (race 8). Zaratite (Belmont Race 4 No. 2) This five-year-old Animal Kingdom gelding trained by Grant & Alana Williams has four wins and five 2nd places from 10 starts. He returned from 93 weeks off the track for 0.48 length 2nd over 1600m at Belmont on 12 June, then ran on strongly but was outmuscled late on a heavy track over 1650m at Belmont on 10 July. Is well
