Our Eagle Farm Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Charretera (Eagle Farm Race 9 No. 13):
There aren’t many better trainers in Australia that can turn a horse around than Tony Gollan and it was the return of Charretera that sparks plenty of interest here. Well backed and didn’t disappoint, you wanted to be on it for the entire run. Its prior form is very good for a race like this and its fair to say off the last run that Charretera may well be back. Demands plenty of respect and the current $13 is excellent.

Aidensfield (Eagle Farm Race 7 No. 9):
Aidesfield has been tricky to catch but I believe a lot of that has come down to it being placed in unsuitable races. It showed plenty of promise earlier on in its career but has since struggled to find that elusive win. I believe coming over to Queensland was a smart move by connections and its prior efforts rate extremely well against this field. If Aidensfield can reproduce what it showed last prep over in Melbourne it will take the power of beating against these. Handling the Eagle Farm track is some query but the $6 looks a great bet.

Good Bean (Eagle Farm Race 6 No. 8):
Good Bean won convincingly last start and does draw to get all the favours here but looks short coming off a maiden win on the synthetic track. Eagle Farm is a completely different set up and many don’t handle the course. There are some horses in this race that are proven at the track and arguably have stronger formlines so Good Bean looks a risk at its current quote.
