Our Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips for Wednesdays meeting.

Exotic Ruby (Warwick Farm Race 5 No. 2):
This five-year-old Snitzel mare trained by Bjorn Baker has two wins and six places from 11 starts. She kept chasing but couldn’t reel in the winner when 1.3 lengths 2nd over 1100m at Warwick Farm on 10 February, then she was found to be lame when 6 lengths 2nd in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill on 20 February. This is a big drop in class from that race and with two places from three starts this campaign she is ready to win.

Each Way

Dalaalaat (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 7):
This four-year-old Written Tycoon gelding has two wins and three places from eight starts. Resuming from a 44 week spell he won by 1.17 lengths over 1100m at Scone on 28 January, then battled on for 1.05 lengths 4th over 1200m at Doomben on 11 February. He should race on the speed and looks well-worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay

Kiku (Warwick Farm Race 3 No. 4):

This three-year-old Zoustar filly is the early favourite in this 3YO BM 68 handicap over 1300m. At her 4th race start she found the front at the 280m and kept going to win by 1.3 lengths in a 3YO Maiden Handicap over 1400m at Rosehill on 20 November, then she chased solidly for 0.2, 0.3 lengths 3rd over 1300m at Rosehill on 5 December. This is a race with lots of chances and I am prepared to risk her first-up.
