Kutayha (Randwick Race 6 No. 5)
This four-year-old Savabeel gelding trained by Chris Waller has had two wins and eight places from 13 starts. He kept chasing for 0.69, 0.68 lengths 3rd over 1600m at Warwick Farm on 2 June, then kept chasing on the heavy track for 0.26, 1.77 lengths 3rd over 2000m at Rosehill on 19 June. He returns to a shorter trip and James McDonald has had success on him previously. Looks very hard to beat.

Dubai Star (Randwick Race 7 No. 6):
This three-year-old Pride Of Dubai filly trained by Annabel Neasham has two wins and four places from 12 starts. She chased solidly the entire straight for 2.8 lengths 6th over 1300m at Sandown Hillside on 1 May, then began well and led all the way for a narrow win over 1110m at Doomben on 23 June. Both her wins have been over this distnce and she looks a great each-way bet.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Wednesday 24th April 2024

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
