Our Warwick Farm Horse Racing Tips for Tuesdays meeting.

The feature race is the Australia Day Cup (race 6).

Stormy Rock (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 3):
This four-year-old Fastnet Rock gelding trained by Matthew Dunn has two wins and two places from six starts. When resuming from a 23 week spell he settled towards the rear but ran on strongly for a 0.34 length win over 1300m at Newcastle on 19 December, then was the widest straightening and kept chasing for 0.2 length 2nd over 1300m on a heavy track at Warwick Farm on 6 January. He looks to have improvement in him and is the likely winner.

Affinity Beyond (Warwick Farm Race 5 No. 4):
This four-year-old mare trained by Luke Pepper at Canberra has four wins and two places from her nine starts. She jumped awkwardly before getting to the lead but was headed at the 100m and winded late for 3.6 lengths 6th over 1000m at Randwick on 12 December, then showed good speed to lead and held off all challengers for a 0.62 length win over 1000m at Canberra on 13 January. Looks a nice each-way chance in this race.

Macleay (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 4):
This three-year-old gelding trained by Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou is the early favourite in this 3YO BM 64 handicap over 1600m. He chased hard for 1.22 lengths 4th over 1350m at Newcastle on 26 December, then chased hard for a length, 0.8 length 3rd over 1600m on a soft track at Randwick on 9 January. There are six last-start winners in the race and others offer better value.
