Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. The feature is the Group 1 Hot Danish (race 8).

Pandora Blue (Rosehill Race 6 No. 4)
This four-year-old Hallowed Crown mare trained by Kristen Buchanan at Wyong has four wins from six starts. She led on the rails and came clear in the final 200m for a 2.9 length win over 1100m at Port Macquarie on 8 October, then led all the way again for a 1.6 length win in a Midway Handicap over 1200m at Randwick on 23 October. Should race on the speed and can win again.

Schiller’s Myst (Rosehill Race 2 No. 12):
This four-year-old Artie Schiller mare trained by Brett Cavanough at Scone has two wins and a place from four starts. When resuming from a 27 week spell he settled last and ran on strongly for 1.3 lengths 4th over 1450m at Muswellbrook on 4 October, then he tracked up wide approaching the turn and finished best for a 1.1 length win over 1600m at Scone on 22 October. Looks to have above average capability and is a good each-way chance here.

Shalatin (Rosehill Race 7 No. 5):
This two-year-old Shalaa colt trained by Joe Pride is the early favourite in the $1 million Golden Gift over 1100m. He is only had one start (like most other runners in this race) where he raced greenly and came from well back to finish 1.8 lengths 5th in the 2YO Kirkham Plate over 1000m at Randwick on 23 October. With such a mix of youngsters including three that are unraced and have shown potential in trials I am prepared to risk him here.

Horse Racing Tips: SA Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments There are 9 races on the Parks circuit. The track is rated good and the rail is +3 metres from the 1000m -to the winning post and true for the remainder. Best Bet Easy Campese (Morphettville Race 3 No. 4) Easy Campese has been runner-up at his last 3 races and is ready to win. With the 2kg claim for Alana Livesay he will only carry 52.5 kg down from 59kg last start and hopefully that will make all the difference.
