This five-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Bjorn Baker has four wins and 10 places from 22 starts. He kept chasing to find the front at the 150m but the winner was too strong late and he finished 0.32 length 2nd over 2100m at Gosford on 8 May, then he ran home strongly for 0.39 length 2nd in the Listed Lord Mayor’s Cup over 2000m at Rosehill on 22 May. He has won over 2400m before and rates highly.

Majestic Shot (Rosehill Race 9 No. 6):
This three-year-old Shooting To Win filly trained by Grant Allard at Gosford has four wins and a place from six starts. She battled away for 1.14 lengths 4th over 1100m at Hawkesbury on 14 April, then chased hard for 2.61 lengths 2nd in the Listed Denise’s Joy Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill where she had the best last 400m race sectional. She will carry less weight and looks a nice each-way bet.

Scream And Shout (Rosehill Race 4 No. 15):
This three-year-old Nicconi filly trained by John O’Shea is the early favourite in this Fillies & Mares BM 78 handicap over 1200m. When resumimg from a 29 week spell she won a maiden handicap by 2.76 lengths over 1200m at Goulburn on 27 April,, then chased hard for a 1.3 length win in a BM 64 over 1300m at Kembla Grange on 15 May. This is a lot tougher and I am prepared to risk her.
