Outback Diva (Randwick Race 7 No. 1)
This More Than Ready mare is the topweight in this 1400m fillies and mares race, and deserves to be. She resumed from a spell and came from the back of the field to just miss and finished 0.1 length 2nd over 1000m at Kembla Grange on a heavy track on 30 May, then settled towards the rear again and ran on strongly for a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Rosehill on a heavy track on 13 June, where she had the best last 800m race sectional. She has a 3kg claim and should win again on the heavy track.
Spaceboy (Randwick Race 5 No. 5):
In 13 runs this Deep Field gelding has never finished further back than 4th. He was bumped early in the straight and was three wide with no cover and was winded at the end after a tough run for 2.4 lengths 4th over 1000m at Warwick Farm on a heavy track on 8 June. Next start he led most of the way for a 4.6 length win over 1100m at Wyong on a soft track on 18 June. He drops 4kg from that and is always a good each-way bet as he is so consistent.
Feel the Knight (Randwick Race 2 No. 18):
This Canberra-trained gelding is the early favourite in this Highway Class 3 Handicap. He has performed well in similar races in the past, running a length 4th over 1000m at Randwick on 14 December, then 2.5 lengths 6th over 1100m at Randwick on 28 December. He resumes here after 27 weeks and has no form on soft or heavy tracks which will make things difficult for him.
