Gytrash (Rosehill Race 7 No. 1)
This five-year-old Lope De Vega gelding trained by Gordon Richards at Morphettville has the enviable record of 9 wins and 11 places from 21 starts. He resumed from a 16 week spell for a 1.5 length win in the Group 3 Concorde Stakes over 1000m at Randwick on 5 September, then ran on well for 2.5, 0.5 lengths 3rd in The Everest over 1200m at Randwick on 17 October. He is very talented and can win this.

Each Way
Kirwan’s Lane (Rosehill Race 4 No. 5):
This four-year-old gelding has won both starts this preparation. He resumed for a 1.5 length win over 1550m at Canterbury Park on 1550m, then ran on strongly to gain the upper hand in the final 100m for a 1.3 length win over 1600m at Warwick Farm on 14 October. He has a wide barrier but he has won at the distance before and is worth an each-way bet.

Best Lay
Ellsberg (Rosehill Race 2 No. 10):
This three-year-old colt is the early favourite in this 3&4YO BM 72 handicap over 1400m. He has only had one start where he won by 0.8 length in a maiden handicap over 1300m at Warwick Farm where he led all the way in the field of six runners. This will be much harder and he does not look like a value bet.
