Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

La Chevalee (Randwick Race 3 No. 2):
This four-year-old Written Tycoon mare from the Ciaron Maher & David Eustace stable has four wins and five places from 13 starts. She chased hard for 2.38 lengths 4th over 1500m at Rosehill on heavy going with the best last 400m race sectional of the day, then chased hard to find the front at the 300m and raced away for a 2.11 length win over 1800m at Randwick on 17 July. She is a genuine mudlark and with the 2kg claim should win again.

Each Way

Remlaps Gem (Randwick Race 8 No. 4):
This four-year-old Rubick gelding trained by Scott Singleton at Scone has four wins and four places from 11 starts. He was a 3.5 length winner in a BM 74 handicap over 1000m at Scone on 15 June, then led until gunned down in the final 75m over 1000m at Grafton on 8 July. Three of his wins have been on soft going and he looks a nice each-way chance here.

Surf Dancer (Randwick Race 7 No. 2):
This four-year-old gelding trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott is the early favourite in this BM 88 handicap over 1400m. He is a UK import who had his last UK race on 15 August 2020 where he ran 7th over 1408m at Newbury and had 3 wins from 8 starts in Britain. After a 48 week spell he had his Australian debut where he was the early leader and finished 3 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Randwick on 17 July. Has some stiff opposition here and others offer better value.

Key Comments The 'Bool carnival continues and the feature on the card is the Wangoom Handicap (race 8). Tricky card to sort out but going for the best bet in the feature who is 3/3 on this track and class can come to the fore. Best Bet Tuvalu (Warrnambool Race 8 No. 1) He is 3/3 on this track and form last prep reads well against these including a length loss behind Pinstriped, a length loss behind Alligator Blood and half a length
