Kordia (Randwick Race 3 No. 7)
This Epaulette gelding from the Godolphin stable resumed after a year off for an impressive 1.3 length win over 1200m at Rosehill on 27 June. He settled towards the rear and chased hard for 1.7 lengths 4th over 1200m at Rosehill in a race that wasn’t run to suit on 11 July, where he had the best last 600m race sectional of the day at the distance. The light weight and small field will suit him and I expect him to charge home late for a win.

Zourhea (Randwick Race 5 No. 1):
This Zoustar mare has shown a liking for 1600m races. She settled towards the rear and had to search for a run then made some ground when she got clear 250m out for 6 lengths 5th over 1400m at Randwick on a heavy track on 4 July, then settled towards the rear and was the widest runner on straightening and chased hard to win by a small margin over 1550m at Kensington on heavy ground on 18 July. Jason Collett sticks with her and she looks a good each-way chance.

Juan Diva (Randwick Race 4 No. 3):
This Snitzel mare is the early favourite in this 3&4YO BM 72 Handicap over 1000m. She chased hard for a 1.3 length win over 1000m at Kembla Grange on 21 March, then was hampered at the jump, and was beaten at the 350m to finish 8.2 lengths 9th in the Group 3 PJ Bell Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on heavy going on 4 April, before spelling. She resumes here and has not shown a liking for slow and heavy tracks, so I don’t think she can win.
