This three-year-old Epaulette gelding from the Chris Waller stable has five wins and two places from 12 starts. He kept chasing to find the front at the 300m and raced away for a 2.33 length win on a heavy track over 1500m at Rosehill on 19 June, then won by 1.18 lengths on a heavy track over 1500m at Rosehill on 3 July. He has won his last three races in a row and is a strong hope again.

O’mudgee (Randwick Race 4 No. 5):
This four-year-old Sacred Falls gelding has five wins and six places from 18 starts. He finished 1.78, 0.36 lengths 3rd on a heavy track at Rosehill on 3 July, then he steadily improved for a length win over 1550m at Kensington on a soft track on 7 July. He is on a short back-up again and looks a great each-way chance as he drops in weight and goes up in distance.

The Bopper (Randwick Race 10 No. 4):
This three-year-old Nicconi gelding is the early favourite in this BM 78 handicap over 1000m. He faded late for 5.4 lengths 7th in the Inglis 3YO Sprint over 1200m at Randwick on 6 February, then took over at the 400m but was headed inside the 100m and finished 1.45 lengths 4th over 1100m at Flemington on 27 February. Resumes from a 20 week break and has barrier 14. Others look to have better chances.
