He pulled hard and was wide near the 800m when 4th in the Ted Ryder Prelude over 1675m at Wagga on 5 December, then got back to last before making some ground for 2.4 lengths 3rd in the Fred Cooper Cup over 1600m at Goulburn on 16 December. He is on a seven day back-up and has won 3 times at this track. Worth an each-way bet.
