Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Ginger Flyer (Ascot Race 3 No. 1)
This four-year-old Gingerbread Man mare has one wins and five places from eight starts and resumes here from a 22 week spell. She led to the 100m and fought on for 1.49 lengths 2nd over 1700m at Belmont on 24 June, then led again but was beaten at the 200m and finished 7.11 lengths 9th in the Listed Belmont Oaks over 2000m on 4 July. She has placed in a recent trial, returns to a shorter trip and is down in grade. Looks the likely winner.

My Fair Balentine (Ascot Race 4 No. 3):
This four-year-old mare has two wins and four places from 18 starts. She resumed after 22 weeks for 2.71 lengths 6th over 1400m at Ascot on 17 October, then got well back and finished 4.77 lengths 8th over 1600m at Ascot on 31 October. She will run fitter third-up and looks worth an each-way bet.

Leica Jaguar (Ascot Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old War Chant gelding is the early favourite in this Class 3 handicap over 1000m. He resumed from a 22 week spell with 1.35 lengths 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 11 November, then wound up slowly for 1.39 lengths 4th over 1116m at Bunbury on 2 December. He has a poor third-up record and others look to have better prospects.

Horse Racing Tips: TAS Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments The track is Soft and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Best Bet Sky Land (Hobart Race 1 No. 10) This 2YO filly takes on the older horses here but has been very game

Horse Racing Tips: SA Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments There are 7 races on a Good track where the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Lord Valen (Strathalbyn Race 2 No. 3) He’s been runner-up at both starts this campaign, at Murray Bridge then Balaklava. He gets his chance to lose his maiden status here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Tennessee Maggie (Strathalbyn Race 4 No. 12) Tennessee Magic was runner-up at Gawler last start and should

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments Features are the $75,000 The Fitzroy Open over 1300m (race 6) and $775,000 The Archer over 1300m (race 7). The track is rated Soft and the rail is +2.5m the entire circuit. Best Bet Penman (Rockhampton Race 5 No. 3) Last start he led most of the way on a bog track before being overhauled late. On a better track he should be hard to beat. Horse Racing Tips: VIC Sunday 28th April 2024

Key Comments 8 race card with a few short favourites that look hard to beat. The best bet comes up in race 5 and is knocking on the door for a win. Best Bet Subrising (Ballarat Race 5 No. 6) Comes off the back of 2 second placings and Egan will ride from the wide draw. A lot to like about the past few runs and looks a better hope than the favourite who may just get too far back in this.
